For every different purpose and type of Shipping Container, there is a variety of sizes it will be available in. There are also two heights a shipping container will come in – general purpose which is 8’6″ High (or 2.59m), or High Cube which is 9’6″ High (or 2.89m)
The general construction of a shipping container includes Corrosion resistant Corten® steel walls. Four high strength corner posts are fitted with corner castings top and bottom, with interconnecting rails of high tensile steel, with corrugated steel side panels, roof panel and front wall. Two pressed steel doors at rear of container, opening 270 degrees, with four hot dip galvanized locking bars, and fitted with watertight rubber seals.
